boho bedroom

Is this not the most charming room ever?  I love the layers and the split in the paint with the faded details.  So simple and amazing!

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.  It feels like the holiday season is really starting to kick in around here.  How about where you are?  Are you feeling it?  Does it feel like a pinch or are you easing into the whole thing?

{shop design} Joe's Jeans South Coast

I was working earlier this week (honestly working) and stopped for lunch in South Coast Plaza.  I was so excited to see that they had finally opened the Joe's Jeans shop.  From my lunching vantage point I was able to see there fun window display of hanging vintage items.  Loved that!
I was lucky enough to be able to chat with the sales people in the shop about design and the great look they had going on.  I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the holiday displays.

They did a great job of mixing vintage and new and the texture in the space was so well used.  I completely loved the rainbow colored jean wall.

Their room within the space was created from vintage windows and doors painted in a heavy white.

California style {Ryan Murphy at home in Hollywood}

Ryan Murphy and David Miller's California home is the perfect mix of old California and new.  I love the clean lines of the kitchen mixed with the rustic table and it's wood and leather chairs. Each space seems to pull it off perfectly with a simple palette and clean white walls.

Remnants of the Past 2012

I was excited to visit the show this year, we have not been to the last few shows and I wanted to see everyone.   My first stop as always was to see the boys at Atelier de Campagne.  Their booth was full of beautiful pieces as always.  Things were moving quickly so we stopped for a quick picture and then it was on with the show.

Next stop- Junk Style design.  I have never seen them before and I fell for their style. It was a great mix of vintage pieces and one of my favorites vintage luggage.

 They also had some great bird cages, I almost caved and bought one but decided I should wait until things were finished here at home!

I loved that so many vendors used beautiful natural pieces in their displays, we saw so many nests and feathers mixed in with the pumpkins.

I love loved the display of vintage dress forms from The Seed Box antiques I have been searching for just the right one for my office and have not found her yet.

Another amazing display from Kimberlee Edgar of Edgar and Edgar.  Oh my goodness it was all black and cream, it was really beautiful.  I wish I had taken more photos of her booth, it was full of people so it was a little hard and when I went back it was closed up for the night.  She did a really beautiful job.

We had a great time at the show as always I wish I was able to take more time and talk with everyone about their style, maybe during the next show.  I will have more inspiring booths for you in tomorrows post though.

greige and pink...

I fell for the eclectic mix in this space, that and the windows and multiple fireplaces.  The wall color is fantastic and the little accents of pink and feminine touches are just perfection.  This is the home of Hilary Robertson, the owner of Mrs. Robertson in Ft. Greene and it is a divine mix of vintage and well traveled collections, just the way a home should feel.
