boho bedroom

Is this not the most charming room ever?  I love the layers and the split in the paint with the faded details.  So simple and amazing!

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday.  It feels like the holiday season is really starting to kick in around here.  How about where you are?  Are you feeling it?  Does it feel like a pinch or are you easing into the whole thing?

Oh my...

Oh my... this space makes everything better..  I am going to vent a little... so please forgive me..

Please please everyone remember that every site and every blog has a person behind it or people.  Real people!  People who are hurt by anything rude or inappropriate that you send around about them. Anywhere.  Especially via email, these come right to the inbox- right here on my computer {hello}!  If you are going to take the time to write something and hit the send or post button you should at the very least sign it and realize that I will have a way to contact you maybe even with your very own email address.  So once again if you don't have anything nice to say please do not say anything at all, because to me and so many of us this is all very personal!  Be nice, there is no reason not to!

Okay now- is this room not totally amazing?  I love the color change on the walls I love the soft lines of the linen on the sofa and the combination of textures and pattern in the pillows.  This makes me happy!

New Bohemian..

Always loving the over stated style of Ralph Lauren.  This is always great to look at, I am just not sure I would be able to leave this chair as is- but is has great bones.

Look for our winners of the Vintage by Nina book tomorrow as well as a few other things.

Stacked artwork

I have been seeing a lot of great examples of stacked artwork lately and I really love the personal feel that it seems to give to the spaces.  Many of them are living areas but it seems to work over the bed too.  I love the mix of sizes and mediums for something that feels truly eclectic.   It is just a little bit different from the art collage that we typically see in the way that many of these collections reach the ceiling, which is fun and different.  I am thinking of adding to some of my collages in my own home to get this feeling  and to keep up those photos that I just don't want to hide away.

grazie.. Paris

I had almost forgotten about these pictures until tonight.  I am helping a new friend with a cafe that they are opening locally and searching for ideas when I remembered I had taken all of these photos on our trip last Spring.  This was an amazing little restaurant just steps from Merci.  The owner or manager (I am not sure which he was because he spoke very little English) said that it was designed by someone from New York and that many pieces were brought in, which was funny because I loved it for it's quirky industrial appeal and I am thinking how great the French are at being stylish without even trying, but they were trying.  Anyway, I thought I would share my pictures of it with you and recommend it too if you are going to Paris anytime soon..  Visit Merci and rest your shopping feet with a glass of wine and an appetizer or pizza.. super yummy!

oh and don't forget to take a peek at their bathroom - it was super cool too!

grazie- Paris
