French Simple and earthy...

I loved this space when I saw it on My French Country Home... So simple and clean..  I just love the clean lines the soft combination of the colors and the way that those dark chairs stand out...  fantabulous!!!

And the flooring how I want that floor!

HappyEarthDay!

Only in France..

I have seen these images here and there over the past couple of months and they are so dreamy!  As I dream about the fun we are going to have on our trip to Paris and Normandy in May I am so excited!  We are going to rent a little apartment and have the pleasure of staying with a wonderful fellow blogger.  I am trying to make the time to create a post that is worthy of our plans!!!

For now you can enjoy this little bit of France and maybe just maybe some day you can stay here..

Settees on my mind...

I spent most of the day yesterday searching out the perfect fabric for my vintage settee that needs recovering... a warm dark grey brown velvet... perfection!

I am so in love with settees right now.

Once I get it all done I will have to share!

Tea and company..

I am planning a little afternoon tea with my girls to work on our trip to Paris in the spring for next week. I am so excited to go back! I simply love it there... Have you been? We are thinking of staying in an apartment for the week... any recommendations? I love the 1st Arr. so I am trying to find something there.

Not to mention my love for these dishes I plan on picking some up while in town also!

Dreaming in French

As the new year approaches I am so excited to start planning a trip to France for the Spring. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out... In the meantime I am wishing that I could stay in a place as beautiful as this!  Have you made plans (dreams) for the New Year??

Moving on... weekend wishes

I saw this sweet video at Bardot in Blue this morning and had to share... Wishing I was in Paris for the Holidays. Do you ever wish you could travel for the Holidays? I am hoping to take my family to Paris for Christmas one year when the kids are bigger...

French Farmhouse...

There is something that I noticed when I started working on this post...  I sure do love a lot of interiors..  All week I have started my posts with "I love..."   So I am going to do my best to do better!
This gorgeous French farmhouse is where I am dreaming of spending my fall days relaxing and enjoying wine and cheese and some fresh baked baguettes..
