A little R & R

Busy days ahead... are you ready? I am longing for the simplicity of a vintage cabinet filled with lovely creamy blue dishes and steaming cocoa to drink while I day dream.

Next week I hope to have some pictures of my holiday decor and a little sneak peek into what has been keeping me so busy!

Tomorrow we will have our final post in our Guest wish list series.

Be sure to check us out on Facebook for all things greige

I know some of you don't love exposed storage for your dishes... but look how pretty it can be...

Cream in the kitchen...

I just love exposed shelving and the clean white dishes!

Are you ready for the holiday? I am cooking turkey (second time around) this year and hosting the family. Should be fun and busy. Sometimes I really love just being the guest though...

Hoping to have an update on the dining room makeover for you after the holiday!!!

I love how this little space has so much interest.  I find that art and accessories are so personal.  Do you have a great many objects of interest?  How do you display them?

Exposed kitchen storage

More and more I am seeing exposed kitchen storage. Which I love - so much fun to show off all of your wonderful dishes even if you are not using them! Easy to access and makes a great layered display.  Of course I like the pieces with all of the cream and white dishes as well as the French pieces.

What do you think? Yes or no?

The art of arranging art...

There are so many wonderful ways to arrange artwork. One of my favorites is the mismatched collage! No matter how you do it art should always be a part of your home and by art I mean whatever you think of as art. Your home should always be a reflection of the person who lives inside it. Family pictures, collections, vintage prints, giclees (some of us cannot afford the originals) or whatever inspires you and makes you happy to be home.
