A little Kelly green love..

It is funny how somethings seem to catch your eye.  Lately bits of color seem to be extremely attractive to me.  During the show in Atlanta I noticed a few trends around..  the first was Geodes in decor- everyone had them on display in art pieces, on the walls, on the table tops, all over.  Keep your eye out for them.  The other 2 things I saw a lot of was purple fabrics and linens, as well as rainbow detailing on linens.  Loved it all just like I am loving these pops of Kelly Green here!

Pops of color and Atlanta bound..

I am falling for this look - New Traditional at it's best!  A simple neutral backdrop with pops of color that can be changed out easily.

Things here are moving along quickly..  I have so many things that I would like to share and just not enough time to get them on the blog...  Today I am on my way to Atlanta for the show, this is my first time there so I am super excited!  I hope to see many of you there!  If you want to keep up with me and all of the latest trends I will be posting on Instagram during the show.  Check it out @ greigedesign or on Instagram.

mellow yellow

Sometimes all you need is a little touch of color to make you smile..  What are your plans for the weekend?  I am going to try and get into my copy of The Great Gatsby this weekend, of course it is not vintage and covered in yellow but I am sure that the story is still just as good!
 Enjoy your Friday my friends!

Linen bedding..

I have been a huge fan of linen bedding for a long while now.  I simply love the softness of the sheets and the crumpled relaxed look of the fabric on the bed.  At first I was all about the natural color and now I am infatuated with the dark greys and the white.  This is what my bed seems to look like with the mix of the colors.. so natural and so relaxing!

Bits of Blue..

It can be a really good feeling to get a project on the side of the bar that is completed.  Last week I spent most of my time running around finishing this and 4 other projects up.  These are a few of my favorite views from this one.  I love the splashes of blue even if I cannot commit to a color myself, I truly deeply love this blue.  This project was really fun to mix in the vintage details here and there giving it a little bit more of an eclectic feeling.

I hope you are looking forward to a wonderful new week - I know I am.  There are a lot of finishing details for behind the scenes and new projects to begin!

blush blush

Some days a color just grabs you.  I was loving these little touches of the lightest of pinks..

We had a wonderful weekend here at home, just the necessary amount of relaxing and trying to catch up.  I am looking forward to getting some things taken care of this week and I promise to get to sharing some great new books I am loving as well as some of the great flea market finds from this weekend that I am super excited about.

Happy Monday and welcome April!
