Little grey bath

I am in love with the simplicity of this bath, the wall tile has me searching the internet to find it!!!

It is so light and airy- does anyone know what tile this is??  I must have it for my kids bathroom!

Update!!!  Thank you Catherine and Megan for the emails on the tile!  It can be found here!

Jill Sharp Brinson Loft...

When I came across these pictures of Jill's husband's studio I was smitten!  Just like I was when I saw her house in House Beautiful.  The natural light is just amazing and the mix of vintage is perfection!

Happy Tuesday!

The olive branch

I love the look of cut tree branches inside.  The olive branch is one of my favorites with it's grey undertones.  I think I need to bring more greenery inside - I feel like I am lacking!  A large clear glass vase with them is going to look great in my bathroom.

The bathroom is on it's final days, I cannot wait for it to be finished!  Painting today and hopefully by the weekend we can use it after more than a month of work.

Also, today is the last day to enter the Lux Lampshade giveaway!!!

Simple bath design

So our bath is coming along nicely, I am getting excited to see it all coming together!  I dream of a space like this that is simple clean and very unique, I love the texture of the natural stone and the concrete look of the tub and shower.  The sink is fantastic.  We decided to do the wall mounted fixtures above our vessel sinks, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes well!

The week is coming to an end and I am ready for a little rest and relaxation.

Master bath dreams..

So I have been contemplating for months - what am I going to do with my master bath??  With work being so busy I have been putting off  the planning and I had stopped searching but really we were at the point where it could not wait any longer!  So finally a few weeks ago I found a few hours to work on my bathroom, I took a quick trip to Walker Zanger in search of the perfect tile for the shower as it had been eluding me for months!!!  We have an existing marble floor that we put in just a few years ago and my tastes have changed so much since then so it was hard to decide what I wanted.

Finally I thought I had it all figured out and when I went to order it today it completely destroyed my budget- back to the drawing board I am afraid.

The picture above is my dream cabinet, but this also is not in my budget and not in my color scheme thanks to the floor.  I will share our progress as it becomes available, which will be very soon considering my hubby is almost done pulling out all of the old tile and the new tile has to be started next week!

unplanned...

I love the idea that design would be unplanned.. I guess that then you would call it something else right?  Because Design is really the idea of planning out the space..

Simple grey in the bath

This bath is so simple and calming.  I wish my bath could be so easy to manage, but we have all of those real life things that we have to hideaway so more storage is definitely needed.

Guest bath and a bit of My Paris...

These are a couple of my favorite images from my last trip to Paris.. I am so excited to be going back...More about that to come this week!

Now onto business... Here is a peek at my guest bath idea board. I made this last week and it is funny because it has already had some changes. I found the perfect little dresser piece to replace the open bamboo style piece on here while I was at the flea market. I was so amazed to find exactly what I had wanted. Now it just has to be refinished and installed. I am keeping my fingers crossed that my vision is going to work!

What do you think?  This is just a shell really - there are some missing details but when it comes to my house I am a little more design as you go.

Also, don't miss your chance to win from Shabby Apple!!

Powder room makeover...

I am mid bath redesign for our Powder room right now. We decided on a whim to pull everything out and now I am scrambling to get all the pieces back together. I think I am almost there... I really need to put together a board and see how it all works.. So funny how you do the work for others but cannot quite seem to do it for oneself..

Happy Wednesday all!

The natural progression...

Too bad it's Monday and we cannot stay in bed all day or linger that extra few minutes in the shower...  But just think we are making our way towards another weekend!

Hope your week is off to a great start!

Thank you to Leigha
