I am working with a client in Laguna Beach who is building from the ground up and we were chatting yesterday about windows and doors... we ended up deciding on dark details for the exterior.  I love this look and was excited to find so many wonderful examples to back up our ideas...  What do you think?  Would you go dark?

My goodness..  I just spent a beautiful morning at the flea market!  I found a LOT of beautiful things for myself (which is way dangerous) and had a chance to catch up with a few fellow flea people!

I love the classic feeling of all of the dark trim and detailing in this space and how it carries through.

I have always been one to paint the walls not the trim with color.  I may need to change that idea out once and a while and see how it goes.

I came across both of these kitchens on Pinterest over the past few days and I love the sets of 3 windows above the sink.  They are so cool with their trim and definition!
